Comfort and luxury at home, with reduced heating costs

Boilers are heating systems which work by heating up water and circulating it through radiators placed in living spaces. Some systems heat the water until it turns to steam, while others use only hot water. Heat from the steam or water radiates out into the living space as the steam or water cools. The water is then circulated back to the boiler through a return pipe where it is reheated. Both gas and oil-fired boilers work efficiently to circulate warm water or steam through your radiant heating system. Boilers are suitable for homes that do not have the ductwork required for a forced air system.

Some advantages of modern boiler heating systems include:

  • Outdoor temperature monitoring - smart controls measure the outdoor temperature and automatically adjust to accommodate your home's heat loss
  • Variable gas input - old boilers only had two settings (full capacity and off) while newer boilers can adjust the input of gas across a range to accurately meet the fluctuating heating needs of your home
  • Space saving - modern, compact designs save you valuable floor space
  • New boilers can be more economical and more efficient than forced air systems
  • No dust
  • Quiet
  • Easily customizable
  • Distribute heat evenly while eliminating drafts
  • Environmental merit
  • Simple installation

As many boilers in service today are over 30 years old, they may be costing you money instead of offering exceptional value. Some of the issues associated with older boilers can be high gas consumption, low reliability, potential leaks, and noisy operation. A new boiler installed by a Boonstra Home Comfort Specialist eliminates all of these.
